The night before Moya was sick. She threw up from 12:45am till 2am every five minutes. ☹️ So we started the morning sleepy. The other discomfort was I had to have a full bladder for the first part of the ultrasound. The good news was we made great time getting downtown. And there was not a long wait. The ultrasound tech checked the location of my uterus and saw it was forward facing so that meant I could pee! Once I peed I could relax and enjoy seeing little BB-3! And man it has grown! Kickin and sliding down the uterus wall. It's about an inch and a half long now.
She looked it all over as well as my ovaries. Oh and cool fact.. The egg for this baby came from the left ovary. đ we saw legs and arms and brain and even a little tummy with some liquid from the little one drinking fluid. She came back from meeting with the radiologist and said all looks good.
We had an hour to kill so went for tea and a donut and then decided to go wait at the doctor's office. They got us in early. dr. Johannsen was able to find the heartbeat for the first time too! We then did the blood work for the genetic testing and were done! Now we wait 5-10 days for the results!.... I'm not patient.
Next appointment is July 29th!
