First thing doctor did was check my cervix and swab for my Strep-B culture. I'll get the results of that next appointment. Brad and Belle stepped out for this part. She said I am 2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced. But that doesn't mean anything really as far as when I'll go into labor. Both Belle and Moya I dilated around this time and didn't go early. But it is good in that it means things are starting to head in the right direction so when she induces me it should make it go easier.
Speaking of induction!!! We have a date! January 11th!!
After all the below the belt lookin around Brad and Belle came back and we listened to the heartbeat. It was cute because baby had the hiccups at the time so we could hear that. She then felt around my belly to see if she could determine the baby's position. She felt sure she is head down but we went over to the ultrasound room anyway to peak. She is head down! YAY! And we got a picture of her toes. Doctor wants me to have a growth ultrasound soon to see how big we really are getting in there. So I'll schedule that later.
Next appointment is next Tuesday! :) Only a few more to go!
