Arya has a cold. Not to bad, just a bunch of snot and 99. Yesterday I go after her with the nose bulb to suction the snot out. She fights me and I have to hold her down to do it. Today I come at her with it and she sits up, leans forward and just closes her eyes! She learned that it helps!!!
I know this sounds silly but I was SO impressed! I mean most kids a heck of a lot older will still run and hide to take medication or such even though they know it helps. I was amazed she not only learned that it helps but had the willpower to sit and take it!
She has also started taking Tylenol the same way... opens her mouth like a baby bird. This took longer for her to learn because obviously I don’t give her Tylenol that often.
